Kelly, the White House chief of staff, has continually clashed with first
lady Melania Trump over staffing issues and travel requests, White House
officials told NBC News. Word of the disputes reached President Donald Trump,
who was furious and told Kelly to give his wife what she wanted.
Because
of these conflicts, and clashes with other top administration officials,
Trump is considering replacing Kelly with a new chief of staff soon,
according to people familiar with the discussions.
