Senza vaccino, virus per sempre

A top World Health Organization official has warned that it’s possible the coronavirus ''may never go away” since without a vaccine it could take years for the global population to build up sufficient levels of immunity.

Communities around the world are struggling to adapt to the realities of living with a pandemic. As governments begin restarting their economies after weeks of lockdowns that have paralyzed societies, it could take weeks until it becomes clear whether those reopenings will cause a spike in COVID-19 cases.
