Stormy
Daniels, the adult film star, sued President Donald Trump on Tuesday, saying
that her agreement not to disclose their "intimate" relationship
was invalid because he did not sign it. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles,
was obtained by NBC News.
The
nondisclosure agreement was signed by Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, Daniels
said in the suit, but not by Trump himself. She said the relationship took
place in 2006 and 2007, and that as recently as last month, Cohen tried to
intimidate her into silence.
